Safety Boots
VAT on safety boots and shoes: Safety boots are zero-rated for VAT as long as we are supplying the end user (ie the person who will be wearing them), or another retailer or wholesaler. If we supply safety boots to a employer who is buying them for their employees, we have to charge VAT. For some strange reason, safety shoes (as opposed to boots) are subject to VAT at the standard rate
All our safety boots are priced without VAT - ie the price that you will be charged at checkout. If you are buying boots for employees, please advise us and we will raise an additional VAT-only invoice - thank you.

Rossi 700 Trojan - Claret (Dark Brown) Safety
700 Trojan is a member of the Endura family, with the addition of a certified safety toe. Made with the highest quality full grain kip leather which is supple, robust and ages well. The iconic Endura sole with its Air Cushion technology contains spongy polyurethane for the ultimate underfoot comfort. A great, unisex, steel toe-capped safety work boot.
Some notes on Sizing
Rossi boots come up true to size for men and women although, like Blundstones, some women go down a size if they are between sizes. Rossi boots are different from Blundstones and Redbacks in that the half size provides extra width AND length, as opposed to just extra width (which is the case with Blundstone and Redback). Any thoughts or questions on sizing please ask!
Rossi recommend applying a good quality boot wax before you wear them. We recommend Grangers G-Wax, or the Grangers Waterproofing Wax.
Rossi replacement insoles are not currently available in the UK but we have found the Blundstone Comfort Air to be an excellent substitute, they can be trimmed to size for a perfect fit.

A hardy work boot with Surtek toe abrasion protection and a certified steel safety toe. Made with the highest-quality full grain kip leather which is supple, robust and ages well. The Enigma TPU outer sole is slip, oil and acid resistant, while the PU midsole supplies cushioning comfort.
